It’s often very hard to resist introducing intimacy into the early stages of a relationship when the attraction between two people is strong. It can be like trying to ply apart two magnetic forces that will inevitably join together.

As magical as intimacy can be, becoming intimate also has the ability to come between two people. When a physical component is brought into a relationship, things start to change.

If a newly forged couple come to the decision not to reach a commitment then that’s okay as long as both people are fully aware of each others expectations. Becoming intimate too soon is a good way to spoil a great new relationship.

Even though modern times have made it some what more acceptable for women to be openly intimate or expressive, a recent publication and survey in a leading American women’s magazine said that 77% of its respondents were intimate too early on in their relationships with the main motivation being to please their mans needs ahead of their own.

The contrasting views society has placed on men and women is never more evident when it comes to intimacy. There seems to be no problem with a man having many girlfriends, and this behavior even breeds popularity among one’s peers. However when a woman become too intimate too often, her actions are brought into question, and many men view women with intimacy issues as non worthy relationship material.

The thing is, as much as men go after intimacy, when a woman buckles under too easily, men often have limited respect for her after the deed is done. So if you want your man to hang around, make him earn the right to be intimate with you. Males are also acknowledged for placing further respect in his lady in regards to the quantity of people she has been intimate with.

If it’s a long term and secure relationship you desire, perhaps think twice about becoming intimate too soon if you have met someone you see as more than just a short term proposition.
