A lot of times when a relationship has ended, guys are the first ones to “get back in the game” and start dating other women. However, not every girl is so easily replaceable. If you are wanting to get your ex girlfriend back, I’m willing to be that she is one of those irreplaceable ones.

First of all, if you really want to get your ex girlfriend back, you’re going to have to “think outside the box” a bit. I give lots of dating advice for men, and one of the most common mistakes that I see men make when dealing with their girlfriends is that they try and treat them like logical creatures.

Women for the most part are completely emotional beings, and they don’t often respond well to logical or rational arguments. You’re not going to make a woman do what you want by reasoning with her like you would a man. No matter how hard you try (or beat your head against the wall), that strategy will get you nowhere.

Don’t be like most guys who have almost no chance of ever getting their ex girlfriend back because they won’t admit the truth that’s right in front of their face. That truth that they won’t admit is that their girlfriend just doesn’t feel that “spark” that she once felt in their relationship. It doesn’t matter how much you kick, scream, whine, complain, beg, plead, or try and reason with your ex girlfriend. Those methods will not change her mood!

The most crucial part in getting your ex girlfriend back is taking ownership of the situation. Your girlfriend no longer feels for you the way she did in the past, and I know that hurts. I’m sure the thought of her moving on with some guy on Saturday night hurts even worse, but you can get her back if you get in control now.

You see, when you take responsibility for your situation, you are acting like a man. And acting like a man is one of the most powerful things you can do with a woman when most of your peers have forgotten how to. Take responsibility, and realize that you cannot just “convince” your girlfriend to change her mind about you. Instead, the way to get her back is by changing the way that she feels. You need to make her feel attraction for you once more.
