It’s not surprising this 1978 Billy Joel song became an instant hit because of the sensitive message it has brought to countless hurting people, who have been at one point in their lives, cheated and deceived. Loving someone in good times is natural; you actually do not even have to think about it, it comes so simply and spontaneously. On the other hand, loving someone in hard times is one of the toughest things to do, a major challenge to most couples. Well, it is a choice that one makes and perhaps along with life’s bittersweet phases, many have opted not to love through bad times, hence the failure and fate of most relationships.
