There is an overwhelming amount of advice available for the broken hearted lover who is desperately hoping to win their ex back. And most of it is excellent, well intentioned advice.

But there is one recurring theme that runs through almost every effective tip, strategy or method. It’s the concept of self love. It’s very simple - you really can’t expect someone else to like you, or even be attracted to you if you do not like yourself.

Now it’s no surprise that low self esteem and lack of self love is almost endemic, and the reasons for this are too numerous to go into here.

You really will only succeed in making yourself even more miserable…self pity blossoms and soon you’re digging yourself into a pit of despair and desperation.

Not in the least attractive - right?
